Welcome

An eyebrow cleanup is $7 and takes five to ten minutes. The barber combs the brows up, trims the long hairs poking above the natural top line, clears the middle unibrow zone, and removes a few obvious strays underneath. No wax. No arch. Not a shape. It is a standalone service, or an add on to a haircut, and it is one of the smallest visual changes with the biggest before and after on the whole menu.

The Process

What actually happens in the chair

  • 01

    The quick consultation

Ten seconds. We ask if you want the length trimmed, the middle cleared, and the obvious strays taken out, and we confirm what you do not want touched. This is the check that keeps a cleanup from turning into a shape.

  • 02

    The brows get combed up

A tiny brush pushes every hair upward so the long ones stick out above the natural top line and the strays show themselves.

  • 03

    The long ones get trimmed

Scissors, one snip at a time, right at the natural top edge. The barber is cutting length off the top of a hair, not cutting the hair off at the skin.

  • 04

    The middle zone gets cleared

The little patch between the brows that grows in if you leave it long enough. Tweezers or a small trimmer takes it out.

  • 05

A few strays come out underneath

The obvious ones. Not a full line. The barber leaves the natural arch alone.

  • 06

    The mirror check

A hand mirror comes up so you can see the finished pair before you leave the chair. If anything looks off, we adjust before you stand up.

Under two minutes of actual work. The rest of the appointment is the barber setting up, cleaning up, and letting you check the mirror.

Vocabulary

How to ask for an eyebrow cleanup without ending up with an arch

Say three things and you cannot go wrong.
Say it first

1The trim

"Trim the length off the top." Long hairs poking above the natural line, snipped one at a time. Nothing more.

Then

2The middle

"Clean out the middle." The unibrow zone between the brows gets tweezed or trimmed clear.

Finally

3The no go list

"Do not shape them, do not arch them, do not thin them out." These three words, shape, thin, arch, are the ones that turn a men's brow cleanup into something that reads as done. A cleanup should not read as done. It should read as tidy.

Put it togetherTrim the length, clean the middle, do not shape or arch.
Who It Is For

Who an eyebrow cleanup is for

Anyone whose brows have gotten wild between haircuts. That is most guys over about thirty five, and plenty of younger guys with heavy or wiry brow hair. Brow hair grows in longer, thicker, and in more random directions as you get older. The cleanup catches all of that without changing the shape of the brow itself.

It is also a good standalone booking for anyone who does not need a haircut this week but has an occasion coming up. A wedding, a photo, a presentation. Seven dollars to look tidier for a Saturday event is one of the small trades that pays back easily. Done right, nobody says "your brows look done." They just notice you look a little sharper.

You have a look in mind

You know the look, or you have seen it on someone. Bring a picture, ideally of a person whose hair matches yours in texture. We translate the picture to your head.

02With a question

You have no idea what suits you

Tell us what you do for work, whether you actually style your hair or comb it once and go, and how often you get cut. That is enough for a good barber to steer you toward something you will enjoy wearing.

Cadence

How often to come back for a fresh eyebrow cleanup

  • Heavy or wiry browsEvery three to four weeks
  • Average browsEvery four to six weeks, or every time you get a haircut
  • Before a specific eventOne cleanup the day before or the morning of
  • WeeklyNot needed

You can also add it on to every haircut without thinking about the cadence separately. If you cut every four weeks and add an eyebrow cleanup each time, the brows never get a chance to look wild in the first place.

Common Questions

FAQ

Do you wax?

Most barbers do not, and we do not. The service is scissors and tweezers, sometimes a small trimmer. If you want wax specifically, ask ahead of booking because it is a different service done by an esthetician.

Will people notice?

Only that you look tidier. Done right, nobody says "your brows look done." That is the point.

How long does it take?

Five to ten minutes. Under two minutes of actual work, the rest is setup and cleanup.

Can I get it without a haircut?

Yes. It is a standalone service at $7. Walk in, sit down, walk out.

Will it change the shape of my brow?

No, not if you ask for a cleanup and not a shape. A cleanup removes hairs that are out of place. Your natural top line and your natural arch stay where they are.

How is this different from the men's haircut and eyebrows service?

The men's haircut and eyebrows service is a full haircut with the eyebrow cleanup added at the end for $45 total. This page is the eyebrow cleanup on its own for $7 when you do not need a cut.

My brows are very heavy and wiry, can you handle them?

Yes. Heavy and wiry brows are the ones that most benefit from the service. The tools are made for exactly that hair type.

Can I ask you to make them thinner?

We would rather not. Thinner brows on most men read as overdone. If your brows are genuinely too heavy for your face, we can talk about it, but the default answer is no.

Does it hurt?

The trim does not. The middle cleanup is a few quick tweezer pulls, which most guys barely notice. If you have never had brow hair tweezed, it is a small pinch and it is over quickly.

Do you take walk ins for this?

Yes. It is one of the fastest services on the menu and easy to fit between appointments.
